On Thursday, July 15th, City of Chicago officials, Park District staff, project team members and several community organizations met in Brighton Park to celebrate the beginning of the transformative project.
In alignment with the City of Chicago’s Invest South/West initiative, the new Chicago Park District Headquarters will bring both construction and permanent jobs as well as employees and citizens from around the city to the Brighton Park community. The new “L” Campus will not only feature the Park District’s new 58,000 SF headquarters, but 14 acres of green space and a new 20,000 SF fieldhouse.
F.H. Paschen is partnered with ALL Construction Group on the project. Luis Puig, the President of ALL Construction Group, spoke at the ceremony, “This is a great opportunity for the neighborhood and the Chicago Park District to build something iconic.” As part of F.H. Paschen’s Leadership Academy, both the Budding Builders (high school trades) and Paschen Scholar (high school STEM) programs will closely follow the construction of the new campus.
