For this design/build project, we constructed a new passenger terminal on the south side of 95th Street Station and renovated and built an addition for the existing passenger terminal on the north side of 95th Street. A new pedestrian bridge over 95th Street was constructed, joining the north and south passenger terminals. 95th Street was also widened in both directions to accommodate new dedicated bus lanes, and a new bus bridge over the Dan Ryan/CTA Red Line was constructed. CTA bus and train operations were ongoing throughout the entirety of the project.
With this new, modern, safe, and pedestrian-friendly transit center, passengers will now encounter fewer delays, shorter travel times, and an overall more pleasant CTA experience.
As one of Chicago’s busiest CTA stations, the 95th Street station provides 24-hour Red Line service and over 1,000 CTA, Greyhound and Pace bus trips to approximately 300,000 area residents on a typical weekday.

This project consists of the construction of 10 canopies at Metro Station entrances in different parts of D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. We are expanding plazas at some of the stations, which involves installation of precast concrete slabs, with a cast-in-place (CIP) topping slab, capped off with hardscape. Also of note is that at one station, numerous micropiles will be installed to support the canopy structure. Considerable excavation will be required to install the micropiles.
Work includes selective demolition, installation of a temporary work platform, site, structural and finish work associated with the reworking of granite copings, fabrication and erection of a stainless steel and specialty glazing canopy over escalators. The work also includes specialty lighting in the new canopies.

Designed to become a gateway for Millennium Park and the Loop, the new Washington/Wabash Station consolidated the historic but outdated Madison/Wabash & Randolph/Wabash stations into a single station with an 800’ ADA accessible elevated platform (combined inner & outer loop) adjacent to five continually operating CTA Routes. Throughout, the station features an architectural oscillating wave pattern, integrated into structural elements creating unique, challenging, and highly custom fabrications. Mezzanine-level glass features highlight the work of local artists. All work was completed without disruption of CTA’s normal operating service of Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, and Purple Routes through the loop, aside from limited weekend and off-hour rerouting occurrences.
