Paschen Team Members Receive ASA Awards
Congratulations to Naomi Calmatuianu and Jim Brick on receiving recognition from the Association of Subcontractors & Affiliates at their 19th Annual Awards Evening.
Naomi received Outstanding Project Manager of 2012-2013. She has seven years of construction experience, all of which are with Paschen. She joined the company after graduating from Illinois Institute of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering and is a LEED Green Associate. Naomi has experience working on projects ranging in value from less than $1 million to more than $100 million, and has provided project manager services for clients such as Columbia College, Chicago Transit Authority and the Public Building Commission. Naomi is currently managing work orders for Paschen’s CTA JOC contract.
Jim received Outstanding General Superintendent of 2012-2013. He has 38 years of construction experience, including 14 year with Paschen. A graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in Business Administration, Jim is a member of Carpenters Union Local 1539. During his career, he has managed the field construction of a wide variety of project types, including new construction and renovation of schools, libraries, CTA train stations and several Midway Airport projects. Jim is currently overseeing the CTA Traction Power System Upgrades, which involves construction of three concrete and masonry electrical substations. Jim says the best part of his job is having the opportunity to be part of a great team and the satisfaction of building projects that have a very positive impact on people’s lives.
